We have brand new single and double kayaks for rent by the hour or day. Participate in a group or enjoy the quiet of a paddle gracefully dipping into the still waters of our waters and listen for birds.

Birds such as King Fishers, Herons, Ducks, Egrets, Cormorants, RainBow Bee Eaters, Sand Pipers, Curlews, Tattlers, Plovers, God Wits, Whimbrels, Osprey, Kestrels and Kites. We have over 190 species of bird life here!

Watch the Poddy Mullet jump out of the water, look for Bream,  Sandy Whiting, Moses Perch and more. Stop and by some fresh cooked prawns from the prawn boats that make this area of the creek home.

Visit the Boondall Wetlands where the original Aboriginals have lived for a long time, long before the  Catholic church acquired this area back in 1863. The conservation area was established in 1990 after being bought by the city in the 1960’s.

All our kayak rentals come with a deluxe seat, Paddle and PFD (Personal Flotation Device)

Bring along some extra clothes ( in case you get wet!) Sun protection such as hat, sunglasses and sun tan lotion.

Don’t forget a water bottle ! and a zip lock baggie for your valuables 🙂

We will give you an orientation, and a quick lesson if you need. We have easy, fun sit on top kayaks for those who just want to play close by, or rent a more professional Kayak with a skeg to explore a bit further afield.

Don’t have transportation? No problem, we are close to both Deagon and Sandgate Train Station.
